Job Description: School-Located Vaccine Program (SLV) | Patient Service RepresentativeOur company in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia (SDP), is implementing a school-located vaccination program to administer routine vaccinations required by SDP to students in West Philadelphia elementary and high schools. CHE will hire clinical staff to bring routine vaccines to schools and administer them to students during the school day with the goal of improving vaccination rates among elementary and high school students attending SDP schools in West Philadelphia.

150-200 hours over the course of the project total for this role, not per individual position.This position will be responsible for the a pilot program awarded through the Philadelphia Department of Health supporting School-Located Vaccine Program (SLV) serving elementary and high schools in Philadelphia, PA. SLV patient service representative who will help schedule and register patients in the school-located vaccine program.

Part time role that requires (2-6) 4 hours shifts per month through June 2025. Variable locations. We're looking for 2 PSRs to cover all shifts. Ideally they would serve as back-up for one another throughout. See schedule notes for tentative locations and dates.

Responsibilities may include working with medical records, following HIPPA guidelines.

Responsible for promptly and positively greeting patients, while assuring an efficient check in process and telephone encounters; all according to pre-established practice guidelines.

Verifying accurately entering essential information into the hospital registration and scheduling system with a 90% accuracy.

Other areas of responsibility may include answering telephones, daily maintenance voicemail retrieval and accurate message transcription and follow through, distribution of mail, and clerical duties as assigned.

Daily maintenance of patient records and provider schedules while following HIPPA guidelinesRequirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

3 years related healthcare, registration, physician billing, medical records and/or medical office experience preferred.

Previous customer service background required
